We turned on the air and went out for dinner. On to the room.my husband likes cool and the room was hot and stuffy. In the small hallway waiting for the elevator, I was grateful to see a modern vending machine that offered Pure Leaf iced tea, until we saw the “Out of Order” sign on it. Upon check-in, the woman working the front desk was on her cellphone for a personal call so we stood and waited a few minutes for it to end. We needed a getaway! So after reading reviews we chose Comfort Inn. We’ve had the 2020 stuff happen (job loss, teens schooling forced remote, surgeries with issues, ect.). No worries though, the hotel gave me $20 off my room rate to stay with these bugs! I'm sure this review won't be found on the hotels review page so hopefully you will find it here so you know what you will be sleeping with.… After a long pregnant pause he say, yes we treated for them two weeks ago. I said, I know you know your hotel has a bug problem. I told the front desk clerk that I didn't want to talk to him about this anymore than he wanted to hear about it. We just didn't spend much time in the room that night before going to bed. However this year we had bugs! Lots of rollie pollies and something that looked like meal worms! They were everywhere, all over the bathroom floor and then I noticed them around the window, climbing up the wall and on the curtains! I wish we would have noticed them when we checked in.
It's nothing fancy but overall it's fine. We stayed at this hotel last year as it is a preferred hotel for an ultra marathon that my husband runs.
